Dolce & Gabbana: May Elon Musk Be the “King of Crypto”
What does it take to become royalty in the 21st century? Well, according to Dolce & Gabbana, buying a crown from a collection of non-fungible tokens is enough. In the tweet, they suggested that Elon Musk may be the Cryptocurrency Dogecoin King.
The resplendent Doge Crown is a jewelry piece created by the famous Italian designer duo for their first-ever collection of non-fungible tokens. The designers have partnered with the digital token marketplace UNXD earlier in September 2021 to make the collection.
The word “Doge” is a nod to the historic head of the Venetian Republic in Italy, it is not related to DogeCoin or any other cryptocurrency. The crown follows a fairly traditional design of a circular ornament. The blue headband is decorated with the symbols of Zodiac signs. The crown is adorned with seven blue sapphires and 142 diamonds. It was designed by Stefano Dolce and Domenico Gabbana themselves.
Knowing that about Elon Musk’s crypto passion, the Italians mentioned him in a tweet. He who owns the Crown, they said, would be anointed the King of Crypto, according to an old legend.
